To promote the health, social and psychological needs of women and their families, and including education for maternity service users at and their carers at Stoke Mandeville Hospital and the Wycome Birth Centre
Supporting Buckinghamshire's maternity service since 1984
The Ducklings Trust is a charity set up in 1984 to raise money for equipment and help improve the environment in the Maternity Units at Stoke Mandeville and Wycombe.
Our fundraising continues so the units can buy equipment and/or items suggested by staff or the public which help make the units be the best birth environment they can be for families and staff.
As well as the very welcome donations we receive, we try to fundraise throughout the year by organising various events - Quiz Nights, Balls, Discos etc. Plus we have stalls at local events, fetes and markets. We welcome suggestions and help with the organising of events.
We have had people do special sponsored events like the London Marathon, London to Brighton Cycle ride and The Three Peaks Challenge to raise money for us too.
